What You Will Take Home

Eight Days Designed for Sidhas

A Deeper Meditation Experience

Long daily rounds of group meditation and Yogic Flying — depths rarely reached practising alone.

Resonance of Harmony and Bliss

Practicing together in a large group, individual consciousness resonates with the collective, creating a powerful field of harmony and bliss that we can experience together.

Deep Rest and Rejuvenation

Deep rest, deep purification, and deep rejuvenation for body, mind and consciousness.

Power of Ancient Knowledge

Maharishi Vedic Science courses and keynote lectures deepen your understanding and provide a clearer map for your practice.

Meeting the World

Meet Sidhas from Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Americas, and both sides of the Strait — and build friendships that last well beyond the week.

Being Part of a Historical Moment

A historic gathering of its kind at the Taiwan Strait. Years from now, you will remember that you were here.

Peace Begins in Consciousness

Creating the Maharishi Effect in Penghu

This event will be the first World Peace Assembly (WPA) of its kind to be held in Greater China. Within a group large enough to create the Maharishi Effect, every participant can enjoy the harmony and bliss of collective consciousness resonating together, and with it deep rest, deep cleansing, and deep restoration and growth for body, mind and consciousness — while that same harmony radiates from both sides of the Strait into the global field of consciousness.

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Each participant not only experiences the harmony and bliss of extended group practice, along with deep rest and rejuvenation for body and mind, but also contributes to creating the conditions for greater peace and harmony across the Taiwan Strait and beyond.

Bringing people together in group meditation, individual person resonates with the harmony and bliss of collective consciousness.
As part of a greater collective, we experience deeper rest, deeper purification, and deeper rejuvenation of body, mind, and consciousness.

Travel Guide

Getting to Penghu

Magong Airport (MZG) has no direct international flights. Fly into Taiwan first, then take a domestic flight to Magong. Note: domestic flights to Penghu depart from Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA) in the city center — not Taoyuan (TPE).

RecommendedBy Air (International → Domestic)

  • International arrival: Taoyuan Intl (TPE) is the main gateway; Kaohsiung Intl (KHH) is convenient from Southeast Asia, with the domestic connection in the same airport.
  • TPE → Songshan (TSA): Airport MRT to Taipei Main Station ~40 min (NT$150) + metro/taxi ~15–20 min; or direct taxi ~1 hr (NT$1,100–1,300). Allow 3+ hours between international arrival and the domestic flight.
  • Songshan (TSA) → Magong: ~50 min, frequent daily flights (~06:30–20:00), ~NT$2,000–2,600 one way.
  • Kaohsiung (KHH) / Taichung (RMQ) → Magong: ~35–40 min, daily flights, slightly lower fares.
  • Booking (English available; passport required):
    uniair.com.tw (UNI Air) · mandarin-airlines.com (Mandarin Airlines)
In Penghu: Magong Airport → Penghu Youth Activity Center ~10 km, 15 min by taxi (~NT$300–400). Group shuttle details will follow with the registration form. Book flights early (domestic seats open ~two months ahead) and consider arriving in Taiwan by September 30 as a weather buffer.

The Blessing of Giving

Those who give often receive the deepest blessings in return. A teacher who shares knowledge gains a deeper understanding of it. One who shares resources helps create greater abundance. And one who offers blessings discovers deeper blessings arising from within.

At this moment of transition, let us come together to create deeper peace and blessings for both sides of the Taiwan Strait and for the whole world — while bringing multiplied peace, calm, and joy to ourselves and our families.
